Melbourne Trip (Part 3)

Melbourne Trip
(Part 3)

During this trip, finally I got to meet up Jasmine, my long lost friend. Tee hee... we were in the same nursery and then in the same tuition class in Lady Orchid during high school time. She has become more ladylike, gorgeous and totally sweet. Very thankful to have the chance of staying and clinging at her place for few nights. Those nights were pleasant to me. She really took good care of me in terms of comfort and BEAUTY !!! Yeah, she asked me to use her 'Sleeping Mask' before I go to bed and repeatedly reminded me that it is a must..... Isnt she so sweet??

Along Swanston Street

Then to Flinders Federation

That's the Eureka Tower behind us and we paid a visit there.

Yara River

Don't you think these bees look amazingly cute?

Walking our way to Eureka Skydeck !! So exciting !
It's known as the tallest building in Melbourne and the world's tallest residential building.
Stunning isnt it???

At the ground floor. Kids were attracted to the multi-user interactive 'Serendipity Table' , showing the history and stories of Melbourne. I tried myself to squeeze into the crowd, but it's kind of difficult and gave up in the end.

In the lift. We were at 88 floors !!

The spectacular view of Melbourne city and romantic sunset as the backdrop

Jas and me

Very interesting coin machine. By inserting a dollar, you'll get an Eureka Tower trademark engraved on bronze lil piece.

Us at the peak of Eureka Tower observation deck

Went outside of the building to get a different of excitement.

We paid around $12 just to experience 'The Edge'. It's a glass cube and will projects 3 metres out of the building and suspended almost 300 metres above the ground. Pretty thrilling, you could hear the glass cracking sound to make you squeak out !! A photo will be taken by them but need to pay. So being the cheapskate me, Jas helped me to take a picture of us in from the screen. Afterall it's free.... I wouldn't want to pay another $12 for such photo.

Then had our dinner at one of the Jap restaurants.

Been craving for this ......

The sushi and grilled salmon were simply usual..... nothing special. We were not full and not satisfied at all but cost us a bomb.

So in the end, we thought of having some sweet stuff would be good and appetizing.

SAN CHURRO

SPANISH DOUGHNUTS is one of their speciality

The delectable of chocos

Our spanish doughnuts sprinkled with sugar frost.
What you need to do is to dip them into the fine, concentrate melted chocolate and taste it.
I'm liking it so much....

YUM!!

That's not the end yet.....
We even went to famous Max Brenner chocolate shop for chocolate drinks !!

Max Brenner- The Bald Man, the chocolate culture, origin by U.S

I ordered 'Suckao', a concentrated chocolate shot. Mine was with white chocolate tablets.
The term 'Suckao' is made of two words that describe the utensil and the unique drink it contains:

SUCK- to draw the dense liquid through the metal tube

KAKAO- the spanish word for cocoa beans which this rich chocolate drink is made and determine its quality

Orange chocolate in Hug Mug- a specially designed mug for chocolate drinking ceremony
