Melbourne Trip (Part 3)
Melbourne Trip
Part 3
Part 3
Another delayed entry from me. This time, I tried to assemble my Melbourne trip pictures into whole last entry. So, be well prepared to see tons and loads of pictures that I've posted here.....
Music Bowl
There's a complete picture of the music bowl... but too bad u only get to see 1/4 of the music bowl picture below... u must be wondering why right ? I tell ya the reason, because ..... the wind was too strong that my hair flew like freaking fugly ... so dun think it's appropriate to show up here. But... oh well... the music bowl was pretty interesting as if the whole building was hidden below the ground ... and hardly be seen from far.
Shrine of Remembrance
A very monstrous war memorial building situated on top of the greenery sloping hill, looking very rigid and gigantic.
After visiting the Shrine of Remembrance, we decided to have dinner at 'Ying Thai' Restaurant along the Lygon Street. It's one of my favorite Thai Restaurant. I invited Alex to join us for dinner and part of my reason was to treat him this dinner for thanking him to allow us staying overnite at his place.
Food that we ordered:
Some Minced Chicken with Basil Leaves

The very next day, we went to the Dockland. I thought the place would be look alike Darling Harbour in Sydney but ......it's way far different as what imagined. Dockland seemed to be extremely quiet and lack of crowd.
Dockland
I came across someone's blog and happened to see an entry about the Old Melbourne Gaol. I thought it could be part of our plan trip to visit. We paid at the entrance and the access fee allow us to visit the Old Melbourne Gaol and the former Police City Watch house which is like 100 m away only.
The Old Melbourne Gaol
These small rooms were kinda creepy. Criminals and murderer were once kept and locked up in there. I assumed some of them even commit suicide in these rooms.
The Police City Watch House
We got to experience as a criminal and were instructed by a very strict Police Madam inside the Watch House. We were allocated into female and male group and followed the instructions like standing by the wall, hands-off, turn around, mouth open and etc... then we were divided into different rooms according to our criminal record category. About 6-7 of us were locked up in a very dark, stinky room for us to experience the thrill of excitement...haha.
My very exaggerate face expression, looking very tense in the room. I swear I will never involve in criminal stuff.
and I was released ....!! off to shopping ~~
Taken these infront of David Jones.... Guess they were having some fashion fest or so whatever...
Got myself a pair of flat shoes from Nine West at the price of $60. It's already a discounted price. I think the original price was $150+. Freaking expensive rite? That's the only thing I got for myself from this trip.
