INS bbq lunch

The Singapore Club organized a bbq lunch at King Edwards Park in July.I cant remember when it was. However it's windy and cooling on that day. Really freeze me out. It was fun to spend time on bbq with bunch of friends, waiting for the food to be cooked while chatting and gossiping. The club provided good food such as variety of curries, noodle, kebab, smash potatoes and others more.





There are couple of pictures captured the surroundings of King Edwards Park. Well, I reckon althou Newcastle is a bit deserted place to stay, somehow there's still have some spectacular nature view to enjoy.

Guess what. On that day, there was a wedding goin on. Hundreds of guests and and us watching the happiness and lovely bride walked towards to her groom, who's wearing a Captain Suite, accompanied the song of 'Canon in D'. That's totally sweeeeeeeeeet. This was my first time to see such westerners' wedding in reality.

After the bbq, we went to the Kiwi ice cream shop. It was so tempting to see the hot waffles. Slurp, slurp ..... I can tell you, it's really delicious and yummy in this freaking cold weather. But you got filling if you're goin to finish up the whole waffle.

Just bought a brand new blush -Maybelline dream mousse blush. Okiez... I tried it on. Nice, satin soft feeling. Not really obvious in the picture as I applied less, so the color less intense. Overall quite satisfy, juz a lil glittery. Neewayz, I just love *blush*. Boring random post for this ==

Sweet-kan??

Again and again

Every post of mine is not the latest. It can be 3 weeks or maybe one month later. Just bare with me. Well, went to Sydney again before uni reopens (14.7.2007-15.7.2007). Okie I realize I always go down there often. You know without $ is hardly to travel far away. Can be counted grateful enough, at least is Sydney, cheapest trip to go.


First destination was in China Town. Not to slip the chance of eating chinese food. They served in quantity. Quality? I wont grumble, at least able to satisfy and fill up my stomache, remembering the taste of the past.



Till dawn, we went to Darling Harbour. I got to explore the casino behind those buidings. Unfortunately I did not bring my passport along. So there is no proof allow me to access. Sad case.

Had our dinner at one of the korean/japanese restaurant in Lyric Building. The buffet costs us $15. Hmm.... it's a lil expensive, but still worth it, get to eat salmons.

Wah.....for ages I've not been to KTV. Really, really miss those times whenever feeling 'syok' , will gather bunch of friends head to Red box at the most cheapest price. Then now, need to pay $ 30 for 4 person within 1 1/2 hr only. Ex or not ? I duno ~~ == Dont think much, enjoy comes first.

The next day we went to Bondi Beach. I love beaches a lot as I love being near to the sea. I can see beautiful beach scenery, seagulls flying around in the deep blue sky, listen to the rythm of waves crashing onto the beach and so on.... nicekan ?

The picture below reminds me of Boston-Augustana. Just imagine there are heaps of piano along the beach, someone gets to play for u specially, wah............super romantic!!

The Blackbutt Reserve

It's been ages I havent update my blog. I have so much things to write about but I'm juz too lazy. As you can see my post is getting shorten and heapz of pictures are available. But who cares rite? I bet pictures attract more attentions.

I went blackbutt reserve which is a small park where will keep those protected animals. This trip happened to be on 13th/14th. Awhh, I cant really remember that clearly.

Well this trip nothing much, met few new friends and got to know a guy from Penang. I'm so glad.... haha ...at least found a person who comes from the same hometown as me.

Blackbutt reserve dosent have much kinds of animals. But the only purpose for me was to see koalas which I longing to see them so much.

Look at them, the way they sleep. I wonder they still manage to sleep on twigs with it's weight bout 6 kgs.

The Kangaroo

I love kangaroos as well. Too bad they stood so far from me. Dont really get to touch them. I wanted to see their jerseys in pouch, unfortunately I lose the chance. Maybe next time ~~

Movie night

Went to Malaysian Food Restaurant to have our dinner where Ray used to be a waiter over there. The boss served us by introducing some of today's special meal. He's quite humour, kept on wanting us to try his curry chicken and promised to add more chicken for us.

While having our dinner, he came to us and chit chat. He was quite surprised when I told him I took architecture this course.He was like 'wah, ure goin to suffer for the entire course!!' T_T...... Is it dat really surprise the others when I take dis course? I dunno whether anyone will use those one kind of glimpse, despising my ability or not. Or because of how I look? Looking petite doesnt mean will not able to take dis course rite? I wonder am I trying to convince myself to feel better. K la, maybe I'm just being too fussy of these. The final solution is to work on, try my very best althou I can be very slack sometimes. But no matter how hard it is, no matter what is the outcome, no matter I'm able to get through or not, I perceive all these as a challenge which is given to me.

Watched Harry Porter on dat nite. I'm not a fan of Harry Porter and seriously sometimes I hate those creepy and scary background acoustics. No matter how many episode they have, I still dun understand what's goin on in the whole movie, I just dun give a damn. Sad to say so.

Light refreshment

Wanted to go bar on the hill in Uni at first but it's kinda late. So we ended up of goin to Goldberg in Darby Street for some light refreshment. The atmosphere over there not bad I can say, kinda into it. Ooh, not to miss out, saw some looking gud asian dude carrying their electronic guitar walked into the shop where we were. Darn yeng leh ,grin**

Here we ordered a piece of chocolate mud cake, blueberry cheesecake and 4 glasses different flavor of milkshakes. Prices for these refreshment not cheap tho, just a piece of cake costs for 8aud. ==
